Baking a Novel


Words are ingredients.

That mix together to create sentences, paragraphs, pages.

And bake to form plot, characters, pace.

Then are covered in the icing of tone and narrative.

To create a story.

  1. Love this! Though I do think the reader adds the final ingredient. They bring the leavening that'll allow the piece to take flight.
    Or not.
